Welcome to POLISH POTTERY PASSION, a division of HAIR OF THE DOG in Hazleton, PA.
We offer a wonderful line of polish pottery in unikat (signature) pieces and regular (non-unikat) pieces as well.All pottery is imported from Boleslawiec, Poland.
Polish Pottery is extremely durable, and although many buy pieces as collectible heirlooms to display, it truly is meant to be used and enjoyed! There is no lead and no cadmium in polish pottery and it may be used in the oven, microwave,freezer, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Please do not allow sudden temperature changes, as with any pottery, and you will maintain your pottery for a lifetime. The firing process of the white clay is approx. 2400 degrees F., which gives polish pottery a fabulous glaze, and makes clean-up a breeze, even if it's baked-on macaroni and cheese! I prefer to use my pottery to bake in over silverstone bakers that can scratch and become damaged over time.
We offer customer wish lists too. Come in and browse and create a wish list with us to keep on file. Send your family in before your special occasion and we can direct them to pieces you would love to have.
